Bandana Bibs & Burp Cloths

What kind of parent are you?

  • Time Saver:
    • Washing – Gentle Cycle, Cold Wash.
    • Drying – Tumble Dry
  • Perfectionist:
    • Washing – First Wash: Machine wash in cold water with 1/2 cup vinegar. This helps to set and preserve color. Subsequent washes: Continue washing in cold water. You can use regular detergent. Avoid bleaches
    • Drying - For best results, lay flat to dry
    • Ironing – To avoid wrinkles after washing, iron on medium heat. We don’t use strong chemical dyes, so high heat could burn the print. If the middle fleece layer is clumped after drying, simply smooth out the clumps with your thumb and iron on medium heat to flatten them.

Toddler Silicone Bibs

What kind of parent are you?

  • Time Saver:
    • Washing – - Wash the bibs on the top rack of the dishwasher
    • Drying – Place bibs unfolded on a dish dryer rack
  • Perfectionist:
    • Washing:
      • Clean bib thoroughly before first time use
      • After your baby has eaten, take off the bib and shake any dropped food from the scoop into the bin
      • If the bib is dirty, you could give it a quick once-over with a baby wipe or wet napkin
      • If it still needs a proper wash, you can hand wash using regular dishwashing liquid and warm water
  • Removing Odors:
    • Some washing products and foods with a strong odor may leave a residue odor in the silicone bib. For quick & easy sterilizing, you can place the bibs in boiling water for about 5 minutes. Remove from the water with tongs and let cool.
    • For more stubborn odors (or stains), submerge the bib in a diluted white vinegar mix (use one cup of vinegar for every two cups of water). Soak for 30 minutes and then scrub with a gentle cleaning sponge. Rinse and dry thoroughly
  • Removing Stains:
    • Tomato based stains (from tomato sauce, pasta, spaghetti) are harder to clean. We recommend washing a couple of times in the dishwasher, and hanging out to dry in the sun for a day (or two if really bad)
  • Drying:
    • You can dry the bibs with a towel, or hang them to air dry
